LAKE ROOSEVELT #1 tournament

MARCH 27-28

RESULTS

location: Lake Roosevelt Launch Updates:  We will be launching out of Crescent Bay and parking there.  However, we will have weigh-ins at Spring Canyon where we will have docks and a flatter area for weigh-in.  The Crescent Bay launch is just above Grand Coulee Dam while the Spring Canyon launch is about 1 mile N. of the dam.

OUT OF BOUNDS – All waters listed as CLOSED WATERS in the WA Fish and Game 09/10 Sportfishing Rules apply as off-limits in this tournament.  These include:

·         San Poil Arm upstream from the outlet of French Johns Lake

·         Little Dalles power line crossing upstream 1 mile to marked rock point.

·         Northport power line crossing to most upstream point of Steamboat Rock.

For our tournament, the San Poil arm will be OFF LIMITS upstream from the confluence with Lake Roosevelt in a line parallel from the Keller Ferry point to the opposing shoreline.  The later two Fish and Game out of bounds areas are so far North that they likely won’t be a factor in our tournament and will stay per WA regulations.

The National Park Service has provided 25 conditions of permitting.  Please read these when you receive them.  One important point is that everyone must receive and retain a copy of the conditions with them at all times.  We will hand these out at the tournament.  Another important point is that we are to use the courtesy docks along the swim beach first and the finger docks in the center only if we overflow.  Lastly, we can’t take any registration fees on National Park Service property, so you must be paid by 5:15am on Saturday for this tournament to allow for drive time.  We will launch at 6:00 am or first safe light.
